[theqoo] JTBC, NO COVERAGE ON PRESIDENT MOON'S NEW YEAR GREETINGS... RE-BROADCASTS "SNOWDROP"

Although each broadcasting company relayed President Moon Jae In's last New Year communication simultaneously, only JTBC took a different approach. 

President Moon Jae In announced his New Year communication  at the main building of the Blue House on the 3rd. Moon said, "We are facing a presidential election that will determine the future of the country. I hope that citizens will actively participate to lead us to good politics."

For President Moon Jae In, this New Year's communication will be the last one of his tenure. He drew attention as it was also a New Year's communication ahead of the presidential election.

All three land-based channels, including TV Chosun, MBN, and Channel A, all relayed President Moon Jae In's New Year's communication all at once, but only JTBC was seen re-broadcasting the 6th and 7th reruns of their drama 'Snowdrop'.

As 'Snowdrop' is embroiled in controversy over NSA beautification and disparagement of the democratization movement, some online communities are raising question marks regarding the rerun instead of President Moon Jae In's New Year's communication.
