[theqoo] KOREAN FOOD CULTURE THAT WESTERNERS DON'T UNDERSTAND

When they watch videos on toasts or hot dogs on the streets, they go "oooh this looks f*cking delicious but... su..gar? Ew" I've seen so many comments like these

I don't understand why they hate it but seems like they cannot understand the sugar combinationㅋㅋㅋ

original post: here

1. I hate it too

2. Isn't bread their staple food just like rice is our staple food? If you put yourselves in their shoes, wouldn't it be the same as being repulsed over sprinkling sugar on your rice?

3. I hate it too. I like eating it as is way more

4. Personally, I like bread a lot (it's almost my staple food) so I find it a shame that there is overwhelmingly more sweet breads in our country

5. I also hate the sugar

6. It's the same logic as not liking to dip your pizza in honey ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

7. I f*cking like it

8. I also find it so-so

9. I f*cking love it. You need to douse it in sugar

10. I hate it too... I hate how we make everything sweet...

11. I also hate it... I just don't show it...

12. I f*cking like it, it makes it crunchy..
