I feel like a horrible person about this lol
Some people may agree with me though. isn't the crush/early dating stage just the best? I fucking hate physical contact, but just having a cute/nice person to hang out with a couple times and go on a few dates with is great. there's no pressure to kiss or have sex (most of the time), and it's 2022 so splitting dinner and individually paying for stuff is no big deal so I don't feel obligated to them.
Once they start expecting something from me, I lose all interest. I don't think I have commitment issues because if they approached it differently then I may stay, but they always end up wanting the same things and it's a huge turnoff for me.
Having a few dates and then calling it quits before it gets too serious isn't the worst thing in the world; I'm not letting them pay for me or getting physically intimate. I'm flaky but it's not like I'm getting into a serious relationship, I'm always careful to keep it pretty distant.
Is there anybody else like this?
