It's not my first time meeting them either.. It's someone I'm working part-time with..

1. But honestly, if you get offended by questions like that, I bet your life in society must be hard. There are so many people asking for that

2. For kids who don't attend universities, this could be rude

3. You can ask whether they go to universities, but asking for the university's name can have different response from different people. I don't usually ask those..

4. It's rude if you ask someone from a local university, it's a praise if you ask someone from a prestigious universityㅋㅋ

5. It's because people have inferiority complex when it comes to universities

6. Don't people usually never ask about universities..? And you're doing that in a part-timer relationship...? It's impressive

7. I would love it if someone asked me ㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋㅎㅋ

8. Someone ended up breaking ties with me once when we were talking about schools and I asked them 'which school are you from?' so I've never asked the question ever again

9. I don't think it's to the point of being rude..ㅋㅋ But it could eat some people alive

10. Realistically speaking, people usually ask what department you were in, but I've never seen people asking what university you're from.. Even for people who asked for my faculty, they did it very carefully
