'I agree with BTS' army exemption'

While the Ministry of National Defense announced that it would conduct a public opinion poll on BTS's military service exception, a survey result showed that more than half of the people were in favor of the military service exception.

As a result of a poll conducted today (1st) by KBC Gwangju Broadcasting and UPI News, commissioned by Next Week Research, an opinion polling agency. The response in favor of granting special military service to TS members was 57.7%, which was 17.9% higher than that in opposition (39.8%).

In detail, 35.3% strongly agree, 27.5% strongly disagree, 22.4% somewhat agree, and 12.3% somewhat disagree.

In terms of gender, females (62.5%) answered more in favor than males (54.8%). In particular, among women in their 20s and younger, approval (66.3%) was more than twice as high as against (26.3%).

On the other hand, in the male group under the age of 20, the opinion against (63.9%) was 30% higher than that for (33.9%).
