Amid allegations that actor Lee Byung Hun was involved in the casting of former Big Bang member TOP (Choi Seung Hyun) for Netflix's 'Squid Game 2,' his agency has not commented.
On June 29, Lee Byung Hun's agency, BH Entertainment, told Newsen, "We have no official comment" on Lee Byung Hun's alleged involvement in Top's 'Squid Game 2' casting.

According to Newsen, Lee Jung Jae and TOP were once close friends, but they have not interacted at all in recent years. "The last time Lee Jung Jae and TOP were in contact was many years ago," an entertainment industry insider told Newsen on the 29th, "Lee Jung Jae saw TOP's face for the first time in a long time at the 'Squid GI don'ame 2' script reading on the 23rd. It was also the first time he heard that his casting had been finalized."
Amidst Lee Jung Jae's active clarification, suspicions have been raised that the actor who influenced TOP's casting was Lee Byung Hun, not Lee Jung Jae. This is because the person in charge of TOP' activities is Kang Jung Woo, the former head of Lee Byung Hun's agency BH Entertainment and the current head of White Entertainment. This suspicion was also bolstered by the testimony of several entertainment industry insiders that Lee Byung Hun still has a strong relationship with TOP, unlike Lee Jung Jae, with whom he was estranged.
