[theqoo] K-POP IDOLS DANCING AT THE KOHAKU UTA GASSEN TODAY IN JAPAN

(T/N: The "Kohaku Uta Gassen/Kohaku" is an annual NYE show in Japan produced by NHK)

Seventeen
NewJeans
Misamo
Le Sserafim
Stray Kids

They gathered a bunch of K-idols

original post: here

1. What are singers who are winning Daesangs in Korea doing there ('´-`' )?
Just how old is the Kohaku? 20 years ago, when BoA broke through the Japanese market, it was a bit buzzworthy, but now it's overtaken all of J-pop, and K-pop's status has grown so much.... When you look at the stage, you can see that the female singer is the main act and the K-idols are backing her up, which is f*cking weird. Singers like NewJeans and Seventeen don'teven stand as backups in Korea no?

2. Does Japan think that these idols should be some sidekicks? Their companies have lost their minds

3. Why should singers of our country stand at the sides? Their careers are way above theirs. I'm seriously annoyed

4. Why is NewJeans there?

5. I f*cking hate seeing my bias there

6. This is just weird. I hope that this will prevent K-idols from getting fooled in the futureㅠㅠ

7. Why would Korean singers want to perform there? No matter how popular it is...

8. HYBE and JYP are f*cked up companies tsk tsk

9. They are just looking down on our idols.... It would be annoying if my bias was dancing in there. They are not even standing behind senior groups from our country but are standing there in Japan

10. This just f*cking pisses me off. Do they view our idols so lowly over there?
