On the 5th, meenoi hosted an Instagram Live broadcast.

She introduced a recording device in her room. However, in the process, a cigarette and an ashtray were spotted in the middle of her desk. meenoi, flustered, said "aigoo I smoke a lot, whatever," but added "I'm grateful if you love this side of me too."

meenoi also seemed concerned about the controversy that would ensue, saying, "What should I do, I'm in trouble. What the.. But I want this broadcast to become an issue. Again, I've been up all night for two days and I haven't had a sip of alcohol."

meenoi reportedly lives in an apartment. However, cigarettes and ashtrays were found in her room, suggesting that she smoked indoors. The controversy grew as people worried about secondhand smoking from her cats.
