[theqoo] I'M SUSPICIOUS ABOUT THE CHANGE IN THE WAY THEY AWARD TROPHIES AT THE OSCARS THIS YEAR

Usually, the Oscars only had one winner from the previous year come up to present the award.

However, the previous year (2023), Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan won Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor, respectively (both for EEAO), so it was a special year for an Asian to win these awards, but suddenly this year, the presenters were changed to last year's winners + all previous winners.

And the result... Isn't it reasonable to suspect that they suddenly changed this in a year because they awarded Asians last year?

1. These red bast*rds.. (T/n: "홍인놈/red bast*rds" = A Korean internet slang for white people. White people tend to have red blood in their white skin, so they blush easily, and when they get sunburned, they turn red rather than tan.)

2. No but f*ck, I'm f*cking pissed at how they changed it

3. Changing it is definitely suspicious. It's like some local limitations

4. Wow

5. This is racism

6. They are being f*cking obvious

7. Why is Jennifer Lawrence there....

8. And watch them change it back next yearㅎㅎ

9. This is 100% obviousㅋㅋㅋㅋ they just randomly called them all to present

10. ㅋㅋㅋ this is the standard of your local award ceremony
