After living as a motae-solo for 30 years, I finally went on a blind date after being introduced to a female employee at my coworker’s husband’s company.
I'm 30 years old, but my mental age is almost like that of a middle schooler.
After work, all I do is play games, watch streams, YouTube, Ick(?), and browse online communities. I had nothing to talk about with that girl.
I haven’t experienced much in life (never had a part-time job, never traveled abroad, never participated in extracurricular activities), so even writing my self-introduction for job applications was already tough. I didn’t expect to feel that way again while on a blind date. That girl plays tennis after work and goes snowboarding every winter, and f*ck what do I know about these?ㅋㅋ The only thing I’ve done is sledding when I was a kid.
She seemed to know all sorts of trendy restaurants. I only eat delivery food at home or cheap frozen meals from discount deals, so I couldn’t even talk about that.
I just felt really pathetic. We talked for about an hour, but she seemed really bored. I didn't even think about how to change the topic or make any plans for another date.
