Her husband is seriously freaking insane. He's older too, and I think he was a comedian who got completely cut from broadcasting because he cheated like crazy. He supposedly had tons of one-night stands with AV actresses, and one of them even said she felt bad for his wife because she clearly had no eye for men. And yet, she forgave him and is apparently still living with him. I only saw it once on YouTube, but it was so shocking I still remember it

When you look at Japanese actresses or singers, a lot of them seem to be doing well and then suddenly get hit with personality controversies or end up ruining their lives through marriage. Sure, some of them might actually have bad personalities, but usually, once a woman starts rising in popularity, the broadcasters and entertainment companies actively try to bring her down. There's this unspoken rule that they won't tolerate a woman becoming too successful. Out of nowhere, articles start coming out saying she's got a terrible personality or is involved in some scandal. Then they pressure her behind the scenes until her mental state breaks down, and she ends up marrying a man who's clearly beneath her. In Korea, for example, dating a minor would be a huge scandal. but in Japan, the agencies could stop it but they don't. In fact, they’re often the ones spreading the rumors. The Japanese entertainment industry is seriously scary. It pays less than Korea but is way more conservative. Once a woman passes her prime and can't rise much further, they let her back on TV because by then they can fully control her.
