Notice Regarding Legal Action for the Protection of PLAVE

VLAST is continuously monitoring malicious comments involving defamation and insults toward PLAVE members, the unauthorized disclosure of personal information, and stalking behaviors that threaten the artists’ privacy (hereinafter referred to as “sasaeng behavior”). We would like to inform you that we are responding with strict legal action.

In relation to previously filed complaints, we have received rulings acknowledging civil liability for damages following the conclusion of criminal proceedings, and we plan to thoroughly enforce the execution process. Additionally, in March 2025, the Company filed criminal complaints against individuals who posted malicious content, including the disclosure of personal information and defamation against PLAVE members. Several suspects have recently been identified, and investigations are currently underway nationwide. We intend to pursue these cases fully under a zero-tolerance policy, from criminal punishment to civil damage claims.

Recently, we have also confirmed ongoing stalking behavior by certain individuals, such as following or attempting to approach the members. These acts are clear crimes that seriously threaten the physical and mental safety of the members and are absolutely unacceptable by social standards. The Company has already secured related evidence, including CCTV footage and vehicle black box recordings, and is prepared to file criminal charges under the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes. For repeat offenders, we will request the highest level of punishment, including imprisonment, from law enforcement.

Sharing the members’ movement routes or personal information, approaching their accommodations or vehicles, or taking unofficial photos that invade their privacy cannot be justified under any circumstances. We kindly ask all fans to contribute to fostering a healthy fan culture.
