Actress Song Jihyo opened up honestly about her relationship with her mother.

Yang Sechan asked, "When you go grocery shopping with your mom, do you hold hands, link arms, or walk separately?" Song Jihyo chuckled and replied, "Sorry... I don't think I've ever gone grocery shopping with my mom."

She also made a surprising confession, saying, "At some point, I started calling my parents by their names." In response, Yang Sechan said in disbelief, "That's totally unfilial. Almost like trash behavior."

Song Jihyo explained, "There's a reason. Just thinking about it makes me tear up. I guess there was a day when my mom had a really hard time. She cried while calling out for her own mother. Watching that, I realized, 'She may be my mom, but she's also someone's daughter.' Since I was born, I'd only seen her as a mom, so I never thought about that. I felt sorry for her and decided I wanted to treat her more like a friend."
