After being shelved for several years due to school bullying allegations against actress Park Hyesoo, Dear.M, which recently aired on KBS Joy, has now succeeded in securing a broadcast slot on KBS.
On the 25th, the team behind Dear.M announced that the drama will begin airing on KBS2 as a Wednesday–Thursday series starting July 9.
Dear.M is a youthful romance drama that follows a pink-tinted mystery as students try to uncover the identity of “M,” the anonymous author of a confession post that shook Seoyeon University: "Today, I fell in love for the first time." The drama features a cast of leading young stars, including Park Hyesoo, NCT’s Jaehyun, Roh Jeong-eui, and Bae Hyun-sung, drawing widespread attention.
Although highly anticipated, Dear.M was pulled from its original schedule after lead actress Park Hyesoo faced allegations of school violence before the broadcast. Her role as Ma Joo-ah, the cheerful and strong-hearted “girl best friend” archetype, was central to the story, but the controversy cast a heavy shadow over the production, putting its future in jeopardy.
The drama, which had effectively been buried for years, finally aired from April to May this year on KBS Joy, but failed to make a significant impact. Now, it is being revived as a Wednesday–Thursday drama on KBS2 in July, returning to the network it was originally intended to air on before the controversy.
The Dear.M production team stated, “We’re happy that this new time slot will allow more viewers to experience Dear.M. We hope people will connect with the emotions of youth portrayed in the drama and fully enjoy its charm.”
Dear.M will premiere on July 9 at 11:05 p.m. on KBS2.

2. I pity the other actors
3. Are they expecting to raise their subscription fees when they pull bullsh** like that?
4. Wow I don't even think the fans want to see this, don't air it
5. But it's already a flop. Meanwhile they're trying to still raise the subscription fees
6. Why is this necessary
7. I don't understand what kind of backing she has. She's been playing the lead since the beginning of her career, and even when she's had scandals, she still gets lead roles
8. I'm sorry but even that male idol's fans don't want this...;;;;
9. Ew
