As BTS’s Jin prepares for his fan concert tour, global fans are voicing growing concerns and criticism toward the agency, calling for more careful attention to promotion.
Jin is set to kick off his fan concert tour, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, on June 28–29 at the Goyang Sports Complex Auxiliary Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang. He will then perform in 18 shows across nine cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, and Newark in the U.S., as well as London, UK, and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Fans have expressed frustration that, despite the tour starting in just a few days, there has been no promotion of Jin’s solo concert tour on HYBE and BigHit’s official social media channels.
Adding to the frustration, promotional posts have been made for a theater screening of BTS’s online concert from five years ago, which happens to be scheduled on the same day as Jin’s Japan concert. Fans are also pointing out that even the #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in GOYANG LIVE PLAY—a real-time screening of the Goyang show at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium—has not been promoted on HYBE or BigHit’s social media.
On BTS’s debut anniversary, June 13, fans noticed that Jin was excluded from the official 12th-anniversary video played at the 2025 BTS FESTA event at KINTEX in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. Fans expressed frustration, saying, “Anyone can make a mistake, and there isn’t a single BTS member who hasn’t experienced some form of omission by HYBE. But the bigger issue is that omissions and neglect specifically related to Jin have been consistently repeated over a long period of time.”
Even before his solo debut, Jin faced numerous instances of being overlooked or poorly promoted. But fans point out that even after his solo debut, such treatment has continued. For example, his first solo single, The Astronaut, released in 2022, had an unusually short pre-order period of just 9 days. Fans also cite widespread issues with the album’s delivery, including cases where orders were split into three separate shipments globally and albums were delivered far beyond the release window, which significantly impacted Jin’s first-week sales (considered critical for idol album performance).
Fans also claim that for Jin’s first solo mini album HAPPY, released in 2024, major U.S. retailers like Target and Walmart didn’t stock the album at all. Even when fans attempted to buy it, most orders were automatically canceled or not delivered on time, severely affecting Jin’s Billboard chart performance.
In a similar situation, his second mini album Echo, released on May 16, 2025 (KST), was reportedly shipped to the UK seven days after the official release date. In the U.S., retailers like Walmart continued canceling orders for Echo, just as they had with HAPPY.
Fans further criticized that, less than a month after Echo was released, it was marked as “sold out” on the official Stationhead store, even for digital versions, making it impossible to purchase, which they found deeply concerning.
While fans say they can’t list every instance of neglect, they insist that “none of the issues have improved,” and that HYBE’s ongoing omissions and lack of support for Jin continue unabated. They are calling on the company to take responsibility and prevent future occurrences.

1. HYBooniges made their entrance!
2. I've seen articles about Jin's album sales even years ago and they are still doing this to himã…‹ã…‹ At this rate, the company is purposely omitting him to fight with the fans
3. At Jin's level, you'd think that HYBE would treat him well no? They are not even giving him the bare minimum
4. I didn't even know that he was currently promoting. J-Hope is everywhere and I've even seen him on Insta ads...? Did he get on BSH's bad side?
5. This company seems kinda weird. I don't understand how entertainment companies can turn fans into their enemies
6. This confirms that they have no employees
7. It looks like the company is purposely doing this which is even more maddening
8. Seriously, please treat Seokjinie better. I'm begging you, HYBE
9. If they hate HYBE that much, they should be praying for him to leave HYBE instead
10. It's obvious that fans would get mad at this. There are so many talks about Jin being the member they omit all the time
