Amorepacific cosmetics brand HERA has parted ways with Jennie, who has modeled for the brand for more than six years.
According to the beauty industry on Friday, HERA recently ended its contract with Jennie as an advertising model this year.
HERA hired Jennie as a model in early 2019 and the relationship lasted for about six years.
HERA has been spreading the “Seoul Beauty Philosophy” with Jennie, which is to spread original beauty based on Seoul culture around the world.
Over the years, HERA has realized the “Jennie Effect” by putting her front and center. Her signature black cushion foundation was called 'Jennie Cushion' and her sensual nude gloss was called 'Jennie Tint'.
HERA and Jennie reportedly chose to part ways naturally.
HERA's next model is rumored to be Felix of idol group Stray Kids.
When he left the country through Incheon International Airport for his European tour on the 9th, he was spotted with a HERA product (cushion) in his bag. On the outside of the cushion, her name was imprinted in English.
Previously, he had worn Gongcha merchandise on his bag just before he was selected as the model for the Gongcha advertisement.
