[theqoo] DAY6'S FANMEETING THAT IS EVEN REQUIRING ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S REPORT CARD

"The DAY6 fan meeting identity verification process went way too far.

They said my face didn’t match the ID, so they asked me to recite my address and resident registration number. I did, but they still said further verification was needed. They called over a team leader and demanded I show them my Kakao certificate. So I downloaded it and showed it, but they went ahead and took my phone without permission and told me to download my school report card.

They even asked for the name of my elementary school homeroom teacher. I complied with everything they asked, but they still made me stand there while two team leaders kept switching off looking at me, saying things like, “The nose didn’t change, and the eyes are the same,” but still refused to acknowledge it was me. In the end, I entered the concert 15 minutes late.

When I asked how they’d compensate for the delayed entry, they said it was my fault for not being able to verify my own identity and that there was nothing they could do. They didn’t even apologize, just kept trying to assert dominance.

Even though I showed every document they asked for, I was finally allowed in only after all that. But honestly, I felt like my rights were violated in the process and couldn’t enjoy the concert at all.

I really think this needs to change. People keep blaming the fans for not reading the notice or not bringing ID, but even when someone verifies everything, they still get treated like this. If you don’t know the situation, maybe don’t speak on it.

"Seriously, the floor… the ID checks are intense… watch out for the red vests (team leaders)...
If you’re not super confident when they first ask you, they get suspicious > you’ll be pulled aside immediately and asked to open Naver and banking apps off to the right.
Do fangirls not have human rights..ㅠ

After the fan meeting, I stopped by the rest area and only saw two lonely buses for Daegu and Busan…
Fangirls wouldn't go this far if they didn’t really love them."

1. Even the police doesn't treat commoners like that; They've trespassed the law

2. They're f*cking trash

3. What is this, a government agency or something? Even the police and prosecutors need a warrant to access personal info beyond an ID

4. How is this allowed? I don't get it

5. It's nothing new that idol fans’ rights are always treated like they're at rock bottom, but this is a whole new level. Crazy

6. This is so severe seriously...

7. Wow crazy they're treated like they're criminals

8. There's no need to have this level of validation

9. They're such crazy f*ckersㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The way that big agencies do that is freaking crazy....................... How pathetic must one's life be to fill up their self-esteem by talking like that to women who came to see their performancesㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ There really is no life that is more pathetic....
