Actress Kim Goeun is teaming up with actor Kang Dongwon, screenwriter Park Jieun, and director Kim Wonseok.
According to an exclusive report by Xports News on the 21st, Kim Goeun has been confirmed to star in the upcoming drama 'Hon' (working title).
'Hon' is written by star screenwriter Park Jieun, known for hits like My Love from the Star, The Producers, Crash Landing on You, and Queen of Tears, and will be directed by Kim Wonseok, who previously helmed Misaeng, Signal, My Mister, and Goodbye Earth. The drama is said to combine elements of historical fiction and romance.
Kang Dongwon has already been confirmed as the male lead, and the project has drawn early buzz thanks to its A-list writer, director, and leading actor. With Kim Goeun now joining as the female lead, the lineup is even more solidified.
Meanwhile, Kim Goeun is also set to appear in Netflix series Eun-jung and Sang-yeon and The Price of Confession later this year. She's also confirmed to return in Yumi's Cells Season 3, set to be released next year on TVING. Now with her casting in 'Hon', Kim continues to showcase an unstoppable acting schedule.
