1. It's thanks to J-drama that J-idols like Arashi and Kat-tun were known. This was when I knew the most about J-pop back then 

2. I still listen to J-pop a lot nowadays, I think for people who have listened to it in the past will keep listening to it. But it'll never become mainstream 

3. It's always been an underground genre, but I don't think it's mainstream. I've never even considered it a "genre"

4. I used to listen to Japanese songs from the 90s or anime music, but I definitely wouldn't call it a "genre"

5. I'm the only one in my class who listens to J-pop 

6. It's just not popular with the general public, meanwhile popular singers always get influenced by it 

7. I don't think J-pop was ever 'popular'. Ballad remakes are the best

9. Since when did J-pop hit its 'peak'? 

10. J-pop will forever be underground, the only J-pop I'll listen to would be BoA's Japanese songs
