[theqoo] YG'S SIDE, BLACKPINK'S N3 SEAT NO VISIBILITY ISSUE, APOLOGY... "TAKING CORRECTIVE MEASURES"

YG Entertainment  has issued an official apology regarding the controversy over the N3 section, known as "zero-visibility seats" at girl group BLACKPINK’s concert.

On the afternoon of the 7th, YG stated “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the restricted stage view from the N3 seats at the BLACKPINK concert held last weekend.”

YG continued, “A console was installed in front of that section, which hindered the view of the stage. To improve the viewing environment, we installed an extended LED screen for the audience. However, contrary to our intentions, it caused further discomfort. As a result, we are preparing follow-up measures for those who experienced inconvenience in that section. Detailed information will be provided through the ticketing platform.”

BLACKPINK held their World Tour <DEADLINE> in Goyang at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on July 5th and 6th.

Controversy arose over certain seats, dubbed “zero-visibility seats”, that completely blocked the view of the stage. The N3 section was positioned to face the stage directly. However, a large screen was installed directly in front of the N3 area, making it impossible for the audience to see the performance.

There was no prior notice. While the ticketing page did include a disclaimer that said, “There may be visual obstructions due to stage structures,” the reality was not just an obstruction, it was zero visibility. Tickets for that section cost around 130,000 KRW (approximately $100 USD). Fans seated in N3 reportedly could not see the members at all for the entire two-hour performance, prompting growing demands for refunds.

original post: here

1. Refund them. This is crazy

2. They should reimburse and cover the transit fee. Then I'll gladly leave the fandom

3. Imagine ticketing for days to do this, I'd be so pissed ㅜ

4. Refund and pay compensation

5. The way they still sold those tickets thinking they won't get into issues is legendary

6. Reinvite them and upgrade their seat in the next concert

7. There should obviously be a refund, but they should do something else too

8. Reimburse them

9. What a waste of money and time... They need to do something to correct this

10. They invited so many f*cking celebrities, but they give fans seats like these?
