In the past, strong-featured men were more common,
and when people picked the top male celebrities, they were usually guys with those kinds of features.
But these days, if someone has even slightly strong features,
people say, “He doesn’t look Korean,” or “I thought he was a foreigner.”
Originally, the typical Korean "handsome type" had strong features,
but that trend faded around the mid-2010s.
For me, the last famous male celebrity with that look was Yoo Seungho.

1. So this is the type that I really like...
2. Maybe it just seems like tastes have changed because there's no supply... I think that might be it. Even I tend to find faces that are called ‘Arab-type’ a bit overwhelming, but I still think the people in OP's post are handsome.
3. In every era... there have always been very few truly handsome men and beautiful women. These days, it just feels like there are more because so many people get work done...
4. Wow, this topic really keeps coming up again and again... Am I the only one who thinks today’s male celebrities look even better? ã…‹ã…‹ I didn’t live through that era, so I can’t really relate
5. There are lots of good-looking people, but none with that ‘statue’ kind of face, what a shame
6. Aside from 2 of them, I really can't see what's handsome about them
7. It's because there's no more supply, but the demand is still high
8. We changed because there's no more supply
9. There's not a single recent celebrities that made me think they were a flower boy
10. Yoo Seungho doesn't really fit into that type thought...?
