[PC stories/KPOP takes] CAN WE DISCUSS HOW INTERNATIONAL FANS' PERSPECTIVE ON IDOL MILITARY SERVICE HAS CHANGED OVER TIME?

I say this from an international fan’s perspective. Back then most of the backlash about military service came from the Korean public. If an idol or actor got public service, on the international side only his fans cared because it meant he wasn’t healthy enough and it actually took longer for him to be discharged.
But now it’s every fandom’s business. International fans act like they’re Korean and know more than the Korean military itself. They police everyone and act like all idols are faking it or not man enough to serve properly. At this point I wonder why they don’t just submit a petition on behalf of the Korean nation and tell the military what to do.

And by the way, they ignore the fact that the system is strict  if idols were really faking it they’d get caught. If you truly think they’re all lying then write a goddamn petition.

Seriously when did public service suddenly become such a big issue? It actually takes longer than active duty but somehow fans turned into bullies over it.
