Hong Jin-kyung and her husband, A, have ended their marriage. They have agreed to devote more time to their own lives and have filed for divorce.
A broadcasting industry insider told Dispatch, "No one is at fault," adding, "They lived happily together for 22 years, and they agreed to spend the remaining time separately."
Hong Jin-kyung married businessman A, five years her senior, in 2003. They tied the knot after five years of dating. In 2010, they welcomed their daughter, Rael.
It's also reported that Rael respected her parents' decision to divorce. Hong Jin-kyung consulted Rael before the divorce, and Rael supported her parents' decision.
Although the couple has legally separated, their relationship has reportedly grown stronger. A still frequently visits Hong Jin-kyung's home, and their in-laws continue to interact with each other.
