About four months before NewJeans’ debut, the dream of Japanese model Harin was shattered. It has now been confirmed through documents that Harin had indeed signed a trainee contract with ADOR. Until now, some internet users had criticized her, claiming she was spreading false stories alleging that she was part of the NewJeans debut team even though she had only been a Source Music trainee, not with ADOR.

According to the video, Harin signed a contract with ADOR on January 7, 2022. The document includes signatures from Harin herself and her parents, as well as the seal of Min Heejin, who was the CEO of ADOR at the time. Although the contract was supposed to last until January 6, 2023, she was notified of termination just two months later. Born in 2003, Harin had passed a Source Music audition under HYBE in 2020 and began her trainee life. She later transferred to ADOR and joined the NewJeans debut team, but was removed from the team just before debut.
