For some reason people love saying JYP is the big 4 company in the worst position in the recent years, just because their groups don't chart on korean charts as good as they used to. But actually, Day6 still does great on the domestic charts, while TWICE and SKZ are very successful with international fans so I don't get why so many kpop stans act like JYP is in a bad position as a company.
Stray Kids just had the highest grossing kpop tour of all time with dominATE. Their fandom has grown so much in the past couple of years and they are one of the most successful kpop acts of the current time, whether people calling their music "noisy" and hating on them like it or not. They keep reaching new career highs with every comeback and they have definitely cemented their position as the 4th gen leaders.
TWICE, despite many kpop stans convincing themselves that they flopped, is still doing really well for a 10 year old group in an industry that moves so quickly. They headlined Lollapalooza Chicago with an incredible performance and they recently became the 2nd most streamed gg on Spotify of all time. It's true that they may not be as trendy as popular 4th gen ggs like aespa, IVE and NewJeans are these days, but their core fanbase is still loyal to them and their album sales are solid, as well as their daily streams.
In my opinion, while BTS and BP are on another level, based on many metrics Stray Kids and TWICE are right behind them and I don't get how people convinced themselves that the company that has two such successful groups is the one that "fell off" in terms of success.
I also think one of the reasons why a lot of kpop fans often feel comfortable calling JYP groups flops when in reality they are not might be because there aren't many JYP "company stans". Every other big company has a lot of them, while there is such a small amount of people who listen to multiple JYP groups, let alone make stanning groups from the same company their whole online persona like many HYBE/YG/SM stans do.
