[PC stories/KPOP takes] SHINEE WAS THE LAST GOOD BOY GROUP SM HAD

First things first, I know Chen-Baek-Soo are superior vocally to SHINee but hear me out !

Shinee, SuJu and DBSK are the holy trinity of the SM male groups. They are who I'll always recommend to kpop newbies and babies. They are like Leo-Brad-Depp of kpop imo.

Live vocals ? YES Handsome ? YES Distinct sound ? YES Cohesive albums and discography? YES Fashion ? YES

These groups rarely lipsynced and had no filler members. They had a strong part in the creative direction of their music,concept and fashion. They were trendsetters who introduced new hairstyles, fashion trends and aesthetics into kpop. They shaped the sounds of their eras.

With Exo, the rampant lipsyncing started. The phenomenon of filling the group's with dozens like Kris, Suho ( bad vocal technique ), Sehun, Tao, Lay, Chanyeol started. That's why most of the NCT and Riize members are ASS. Let's be frank H2H has not a single good female vocalist ! Like, how do you go from Taeyeon to ... this ?

Also, Chanyeol faked playing the drums and the piano ! No other SM idol has done that shit ! How did he get away with it ? Is being 6 foot tall an excuse to spit on the stage?

Nonetheless, Chen is probably the last great kpop vocalist and a beautiful human being. I wish he got more support. I hope he starts giving vocal lessons like Luna. Baek and DO are great too and good artists. I wish the others pulled their weight. Kai's music has been underwhelming, even his dancing is inferior to Taemin and Shotaro. I want our SM glory days back :( Only Aespa is delivering in terms of success and talent, but they too lipsync a lot.

Anyway, A20's new gg is kinda promising ? I heard they're going to release music similar to early soshi, CSJH and early DBSK ? Hopefully they figure it out.
