Call me a boomer or old-school but I'm honestly worried about the level of education that the new generation (kids born after the 2000's) are getting. Information is more readily available than ever, but recent news have shown that Gen Zs and Gen Alphas are using TikTok/Instagram/Chat GPT to get their daily news, or as a replacement of Google for general information. I've even seen younger relatives using TikTok or Instagram as search engines.
Now, I'm aware that they might still use Google or other search platforms. But seeing how brainrot most of teenagers are makes me worried about the future. In my experience, I feel like customer experience at cafes, shops, etc. are just generally inferior to before as well. The younger staffs just seem to not care about anything and just generally seem more lost and for lack of a better word, incompetent?
I don't know if it's just me being pessimistic or harsh but I'd like to share what I've been thinking so maybe some readers here can show some optimist or positivity that I'm missing (Feel free to skip my post. I just wanted to rant).
