Reports have emerged that actor Lee Soohyuk was overworked due to excessive demands by organizers during a fan meeting in China. In response, his agency has issued a statement addressing the controversy.
On August 30, the "Lee Soohyuk 1st Fanmeeting in Hangzhou” was held in Hangzhou, China, and drew massive attention, with all tickets selling out within just two minutes of opening.
However, according to Taiwanese outlet EBC, the event saw organizers oversell tickets, resulting in Lee Soohyuk reportedly having to sign autographs for nearly 12 hours to accommodate thousands of fans. It was also reported that the air conditioning at the venue broke down, leaving Lee drenched in sweat throughout the event. Eyewitnesses claimed that he was pale and staggering as he left the venue, sparking concern.
Fans reacted strongly, accusing the organizers of overworking the artist, and called for better protection of the actor’s health and safety. Photos of Lee Soohyuk looking exhausted circulated widely on social media, further fueling the controversy.
