[theqoo] THE SHOCKING STATE OF OUR CURRENT BIRTH RATE

"2024: 0.75 kid per family

Increase/Decrease in birth rate by age group
Unit: person, compared to 1995

Overall average: -0.9
15-19 y.o: -3.3
25-29 y.o: -154.6
30-34 y.o: 1.8
35-39 y.o: 31
40-44 y.o: 5.4
45-49 y.o: 0"

If you compare 1995 to 2024, the rate of births for people in their 20's is down the drain

original post: here

1. I hope that families who can afford kids make a lot of kids!!!!

2. Okㅋㅋ

3. Not even surprised

4. But I do feel like this year, a lot more people around me started having kids...

5. This is to be expected. If it went up, it would've been more surprising

6. But even knowing this, I don't want to have a kid

7. Marriages in people's 20's have been decreasing so wasn't this to be expected?

8. I just don't want to give birth

9. People who want kids should have them, a lot

10. But still, the number went up so it's a relief
