I'm in my 7th year on the fandom, tbh my fandom used to mind our own business and having fun within our own. But lately, as the community grows (esp after covid), social media fandom is also growing. We get new people joined, while the jokes and offensive opinion evolves, esp in tiktok and twitter. Some fandom I know they receive many bashful comments regarding certain members, and they even made 'protect' account individually for the members. I joined in 1 of a big rnb dm group simply just to report those bugs mindlessly.
But the long I read all those offensive & negative tweet / comments for idols, the more it makes my head hurt. I wonder why people got so much hatred towards someone they don't know personally? More to the person who sent d*ath threats. I don't really busy but I don't even have time to send any hate comments for anyone Idk about. But those bugs have even effort to find a tiniest detail only to hate people out there.
Anyway, after 1 month++ I joined that group DM, I decided not to active on twitter because the group got me headache also, by cursing back to the hatred / offensive tweet that we reported. It caught me in negativity and I don't feel good to see those tweet in daily basis.
Be honest, have you ever throw any offensive shade / opinion to idols out there? I'm just purely curious.
