[PC stories/KPOP takes] SUNGGYU'S DATING RUMORS AND THOUGHTS ON INFINITE

I heard that sunggyu from infinite may be dating someone but I'm finding it hard to find out what fans are saying.

They are saying on twitter that he barely uses bubble or posts anything unless it's official posts, not making enough music and are upset/angry if he's dating and apparently not hiding it very well?

However he is balancing managing infinite company, a solo career, he is going to do death note the musical as well. I feel like it's unfair for fans to be that upset over dating considering he is a 2nd gen idol, I know sometimes especially k fans are more upset though. I think they said it's somewhat related to his vocal coach sharing more updates and photos even more often than sunggyu himself, and something about only hiring friends that are the only employees at infinite company.

This would cause issues cos apparently, they always will say yes or have outdated ideas/styling/etc and have nothing to make infinite improve. There's some concern sometimes that infinite don't come back often enough or it's lacklustre , barely living up to standards of what they used to do musically and stuff. I think that it's some sort of acquaintance that knows people who work at infinite company or his vocal coach that's the dating rumour.

I would not mind and be happy for him to post more often but at this point is he going to change that? I doubt it. I feel bad for fans who pay money for bubble who barely ever post or post pics at all. I subscribed to some idols before and it's so vast how different people use that app. Some post so much I barely kept up,.others it was so sparse it felt like a waste of money for months. I'm fine if he is happy dating someone. I think some fans don't want him to hide it if true. However it's almost like idols can't win because some fans would just never accept it. At this point , they don't want to lose fans. He's probably worried from what I can tell that they are going to lose more and more fans as more time goes on, as they are not a new group or just debuted.

The members are so cautious from previous dating rumors from what I can gather. I feel really bad that even a 2nd gen idol wants to possibly hide dating rumours, or that even after such an extensive group and solo career and he's still active, they still can't be happy. Do you really expect a 2nd gen idol to be super super active ? He might want to slow things down with more time. It must've been exhausting. Plus he dealt with loss in family not long ago, affecting some infinite concerts. Even another member has said things like he is with the fans and no one else. I think sunggyu said recently something like he is married to the music. It feels weird that even at this point they can't openly date someone they love.

I wouldn't mind infinite coming back more often as a group, but clearly there are conflicts in easily making group schedules. It must be costly too. I mean I can't help but also say their last 2 albums under their own company. I'm grateful but I don't think they even know what kind of music infinite fans want to hear. There are good songs. But they don't have that measure of signal infinite songs , like a signature sound we all know their old songs have. It makes me a bit sad they don't know what fans would want to hear. Maybe they aren't bothered by what fans want by this point in general, but I wish they knew. I saw that some fans said they are always complaining.

And voicing their opinions to the company but it doesn't help. Eventually you get to a point where you do still love the members and the group but it doesn't get as exciting or interesting anymore. I wish for them to all be happy.

But do they even want to all keep doing this? I sometimes wish I could feel more enthusiasm from certain members. For some that are unpopular they clearly need the name infinite to retain fans and have some that will even attend their solo events. It's not as if no one comes but it's so much less than the popular members. It makes me a bit sad that it's Ike this for a 2nd gen group.

I guess I just think sometimes yeah I want them to be happy but it would be nice to tell the members my own opinions at times without a consequence.
