"The era of cutting-edge gene therapy is upon us.

With the earnest hope that thorough research will enable visually impaired individuals to see the bright world once more as soon as possible, I have delivered a donation as the representative ambassador for the Campaign to Eradicate Blindness.

This donation is the sum gathered through the large and small contributions of patients with hereditary retinal diseases, myself, and the many individuals who consistently offer their support, it is not something I have done alone!

(I worry that articles might make it seem like I did this alone, causing misunderstanding...)

I wholeheartedly support the patients and their families, who surely yearn for a cure more than anyone, and the researchers sweating it out right now for a brighter world!

I also wish to express my deepest gratitude to our fans who consistently show their support through the Biming Effect, and to Yuri, Seohyun, and Fany who took an interest in and participated in my donation activities.

I would be most grateful if you could continue to show your interest in the marathon event in September and the Blindness Prevention Campaign Headquarters."
