NEXZ just came back with their pre-released MV for a b-side song and the MB had elements reminiscent of the Japanese Oni
You'd think that this is reminiscent of the Korean goblin
As soon as the video starts, a torii (=a thing erected at the entrance of a Japanese shrine) is shown openly.
There's also a scene of scattering beans;; (=In Japan, they scatter beans to chase away goblins)
Judging from the reactions of Japanese fans, it seems like there are more elements reminiscent of gourd bottles and other oni elements than this.

世界観おもしろーーーーい!!!🤟👹🤟 https://t.co/US7YVdXXRj pic.twitter.com/OlNCIJEyOh
Beyond the torii that marks the sacred realm, an oni invades during a lunar eclipse. Despite the presence of all kinds of exorcism items: candles, beans (to ward off evil spirits), talismans, gourds (that absorb energy), prayer beads, they’re completely ineffective, and the oni is running wild as it pleases..!!
Their worldview is so interesting!!
