If you were going to establish yourself as an actress,
you should’ve joined an acting agency
whether it fit your taste or not
taken on various projects, especially ones with mass appeal,
built up experience, gained recognition,
and played on a bigger stage.
If you were going to establish yourself as a singer,
you should’ve joined a proper company
that could really promote you as an artist,
released albums or songs regularly, something, anything
and just... sung properly under good management.
But honestly speaking,
right now it feels like you’re neither here nor there.
You need to learn to judge companies better,
and sort out the staff around you…
When people move to a new salon or workplace,
it doesn’t mean relationships have to end
you can always make up a reason or say it nicely.
Ordinary people live like that too.
They transfer departments, they change jobs.
Whether you continue as an actress or as a singer,
it’s so clear what’s standing in your way.
And if you can’t break free from that,
then even after 10, 20, 30 years,
your representative works will still be
The Heirs and High Kick,
and your songs will still be Hot Summer and Rum Pum Pum Pum.
I’m not saying you have to go on every variety show or YouTube channel like others do,
but even just a fraction
no, a fraction of a fraction
you could still make an appearance
for promotion, or just to show your face to fans.
I really do wish you a happy birthday,
but whether it’s because of that one article
or how your company handled things afterward,
or maybe it’s just your personality
living as if “a mountain is a mountain, and water is water”
(even if you might be different in private)
I feel like everything that’s built up inside me has exploded.
When someone tells me,
“Krystal released a full album aren’t you a fan?”
and shows me the Melon page,
or says “She’s in a new drama or movie”
and shows me the poster
until then, I don’t think I’ll go out of my way anymore
to search, wander, or worry over her.
I really waited a long time, fought a lot,
and loved her so much.
But now, I think it’s time for you, Soojungie,
to step up for yourself.
People say, “All actor fans feel that way,”
but it just feels especially harsh for usã…Ž
I can’t help but feel frustrated.
I sound like I’ve had a drink or two writing this,
but I think most people here feel the same way I do.
Have a good birthday.
Really, happy birthday"

1. Even as someone who doesn't know Krystal that well, I feel like I haven't seen her in such a long time. I just realized that she released a single. The people around her must be frustrated
2. I can relate. I also gave up after fangirling like that
3. Sigh.. fans aren't even asking for anything else... they just want a proper article releaseã…
4. If the celebrity themselves are satisfied, what can you do even if it's disappointing? If it's stressing you out to the point where you feel like you should fix them even though you're not their parent, then you should just quit being a fan
5. It's indeed frustrating
6. I could never fangirl on someone who doesn't work hard at doing their job. If my bias waned off on their promotions, I'd stop being a fan
7. I just feel like she shows herself only enough to maintain her status as a "celebrity". She doesn't do anything else than wear Ralph Lauren and take photos at the airport
8. Writing something like this won't change the celebrity... You need to let her go. There's no other solution
9. I do wonder why she's releasing so little stuffs
10. She gave up on her fans so you need to let her go too...
