Song Jieun responded to the question, ‘Am I being kind to myself these days?’ by saying, “Before marriage, I was someone who truly belonged to a group, following the team’s opinion rather than my own, someone who went with the flow.”

She added, ‘Because of that, it was a bit difficult for me to be kind to myself. I kept pretending not to hear (my own feelings). I would whip myself into shape. After getting married, my husband kept helping me to see into my own heart, so I think I've become kinder to myself.’

Listening to this, Park We remarked, ‘It took me two years to realise Jieun is someone with very firm tastes. When we were dating, Jieun was a “yes girl”.’

Song Jieun explained, ‘I think I knew I was picky from the start and didn't have the confidence to make the other person understand that. So it was easier to just erase myself and conform to the other person.’

1. Seems like nobody in that group was happy when they were together

2. That's just the fate of an office worker..

3. My company is like that too so... I bet hers was worse though

6. From her company, to the members, to her personality, I can see why. I also am someone who is really bad at voicing my opinion so...

7. Because she's working as an idolㅠㅠ

8. Unless you're a popular member, you have no power in the company..

9. That company had numerous issues, and it was difficult for a member of a girl group that wasn't even a top-tier group at the time to voice her opinions to the company. Song Jieun's personality wasn't the assertive type either, and it all came together.
