STARTO ENTERTAINMENT (formerly Johnny's) announced on the 14th that popular idol group SUPER EIGHT member Shingo Murakami (43) has gotten married. His partner is a non-celebrity woman.
Following Tadayoshi Okura (40), who announced his marriage in February, Murakami becomes the second currently active member of the group to be married.
In July this year, FRIDAY reported that Murakami was seen vacationing with his girlfriend, a woman in her 20s, in Hokkaido and Okinawa, suggesting a romantic relationship.
This marks the third marriage announcement this year from a talent under STARTO ENTERTAINMENT. On January 3rd, Akito Kiriyama (36) from WEST. announced his marriage to Maiko Kano (37), a former member of the Japan women's national volleyball team. On February 24th, Tadayoshi Okura (40) from SUPER EIGHT announced his marriage to a non-celebrity woman.

Personal letter from Murakami Shingo:
As we enter this beautiful autumn season, I wish everyone health and happiness.
As I approach my 30th anniversary in the entertainment industry, I’ve gone through both highs and lows, but thankfully, things have come to a peaceful resolution, and I am now married.
My partner is a private individual, so I would appreciate it if you could watch over us quietly.
As a member of SUPER EIGHT, I’ve been able to look toward a bright future, thanks to the unwavering support of my groupmates who always stood by me. The experiences I’ve shared with our fans have also lit the path forward.
Words cannot fully express how grateful I am for that strong foundation and sense of comfort.
I will continue doing my best to bring you joy, so I hope you’ll keep supporting me.
Thank you very much.
Ookini (Thank you in Kansai dialect)
Thank you
