"Netizens' votes changed the fate of the Blue Dragon!"
Perhaps because it was a national-level big match where any winner would have faced no objections, this year's Blue Dragon Film Awards, where no category saw a unanimous decision, ultimately came down to the netizen vote as the casting vote.
The Blue Dragon Film Awards evaluates both expertise and public sentiment, aiming for fair judgment for all films and actors. Winners are selected by combining the votes of eight judges and the netizen vote, for a total of nine votes, and the candidate with a majority wins. Experts across directing, production, acting, and criticism thoroughly examined and evaluated all nominated works to determine the year’s best films and actors.
This year's deliberation began at 2 p.m. on the day of the ceremony, the 19th, and after about four hours of heated debate among the judges, the awardees were decided. To prevent any leakage of results, the eight judges handed in their phones and focused solely on discussion, rigorously evaluating the films and performances to finalize the lineup of winners for the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

1. So it ended up being a popularity award
2. A f*cking shame for Park Jeongmin, for real
3. Stop with these popularity votes
4. Even this year's winners, Hyun Bin and Son Yejin, had criticism. Hyun Bin was said to have given the weakest performance in Harbin, and Son Yejin didn;t have the presence of a true Best Actress winner since her role was closer to a supporting-level amount of screen time, so of course there's going to be talk. On top of that, the results were decided by a one-vote difference because of the paid netizen popularity vote. The same goes for Yum Hyeran and Jo Yuhyun.
5. What's more is that even the netizens' votes didn't end up being #1
6. Just do the party between yourselves
7. So even acting awards are popularity awards? Fascinating
8. The netizens' votes are supposed to be for the Popularity Award, you f*ckers
9. Park Jeongminㅜㅜ
10. This year, the Blue Dragon was just the worst
