[theqoo] [EXLCUSIVE] BLACKPINK, CONFIRS JANUARY COMEBACK... PUSHED OUT FROM THIS YEAR

According to an investigation by Maeil Business Newspaper's Star Today on the 6th, BLACKPINK has postponed their originally announced comeback this year to January of next year. This decision was confirmed to be made to enhance the quality of their new song and to consider their world tour schedule for next year.

Multiple media outlets previously reported that BLACKPINK was planning a mid-December comeback. Their agency, YG Entertainment, responded, stating, "There's no set date," but added, "We've filmed the new song's music video. We're in the final stages of perfecting the album." They also hinted at the impending comeback.

BLACKPINK's last full-length album was their second full-length album, "Born Pink," released in September 2022. If a new album is released next year, it will be their first comeback in approximately four years. They previously released the single "Jump" in July of this year.
