We’ve reached a point where this can no longer be dismissed as just a fandom issue.

What’s happening to NewJeans has gone far beyond a simple corporate dispute. It’s now a matter of systemic mistreatment, deliberate media manipulation, and a justice system that appears complacent in the face of abuse, or worse, complicit in serving the interests of the powerful instead of protecting the vulnerable.
When a group of young women and their creative director are publicly discredited, when key evidence conveniently disappears or is ignored, and when mainstream news outlets endlessly echo a one-sided corporate narrative without question or accountability… this is no longer a mere management controversy.
This is a human rights concern.
It reflects a broader cultural and institutional failure, one where truth, fairness, and artistic dignity are sacrificed for profit and control.
That’s why we intend to submit a report to Amnesty International and other international human rights organizations. They need to know how the Korean justice system and media ecosystem have enabled the ongoing harassment and institutional bullying of their artists.
This is about asking for basic fairness, transparency, and accountability.
If the system fails to protect those who speak up, then it’s up to civil society, and the global community, to shine a light on it.
"Um... I thought it might be helpful, so I participated in a report for the international human rights organization Amnesty.
