To be blunt, if (NewJeans) hadn’t failed, and if things like LE SSERAFIM’s debut date, the “Kongjwi-Patjwi” rhetoric, and the ILLIT bowing claims had all succeeded, both groups would’ve been completely ruined. They would’ve been forced to retire and live the rest of their lives branded and hated.
Even the company said that one of the ILLIT members was struggling so much mentally that she was breaking down and crying often (people guess this is Iroha, since she was seen crying in multiple places). And in a recent trial, the Source Music CEO said that at the time, a LE SSERAFIM member called him, shaking and sobbing, asking, “What are we supposed to do?”, and that he could even submit this as evidence if necessary.
Honestly, isn’t this worse than school bull**ng? They weren’t apologizing or stopping on their own and they tried everything to destroy someone else’s life, failed, and now they’re trying to come back.
Is it really right to accept them back and forgive them for returning? People even go wild over idols who committed SV when they were 16–17.
But here, a 2004-born adult, already 22, fully aware of everything, tried to end someone else’s life and career???
