"Hello, this is Haetnim.

First of all, I sincerely apologize for causing concern to everyone who has cared for and supported me.

Regarding the controversies and allegations currently being raised, I am reflecting on myself and organizing my thoughts. If there are any parts where I am at fault, I will acknowledge them and will not make excuses or evade responsibility.

I first met the individual surnamed Lee, who is at the center of the controversy, through an acquaintance’s introduction at a hospital in Gangnam District, and therefore believed without suspicion that she was a doctor and received treatment. I understood Mrs. Lee to be an actual physician. On days when I was busy, Mrs. Lee did come to my home, but I have never once gone to Mrs. Lee’s home.

Although I should have examined the circumstances more carefully and acted with greater caution, I failed to do so, and this is entirely my fault. I am deeply reflecting on this. I sincerely apologize to my fans and to the many related parties for unintentionally causing discomfort and harm, and I hope that the damage suffered by everyone involved can be minimized.

I have decided to step down from all programs I am currently appearing on and to suspend all scheduled activities.

I sincerely apologize once again to everyone who showed me love despite my shortcomings, and I will approach this matter with the utmost sincerity and an honest attitude. Once again, I would like to express my deep apologies to all those who supported me.
