[instiz] SONG JOONGKI, CONFIRMS FOLLOW UP WORK IN LIGHT-SPEED AFTER 2 MONTHS.. 'LOVE CLOUD', RETURN TO ROMCOM

 Actor Song Joongki has decided on his next project just two months after wrapping up ‘My Youth’.

According to OSEN's report on the 8th, Song Joongki recently received a script proposal for the new drama ‘Love Cloud’ (working title) and has positively reviewed it, leaning towards accepting the role. 

'Love Cloud' is a romantic comedy depicting the story of Kang Woo-joo, a former flight instructor, and Ahn Ha-nyu, a former trainee pilot, who meet again seven years later as an air traffic controller and a pilot in Jeju, a mysterious place where even love becomes weather. Director Song Min-yeop of KBS2's ‘May's Youth’ and the drama ‘HIGHCOOKIE’ will helm the project, with rookie writer team Mad Rabbit penning the script.

Song Joongki will passionately portray the male lead, Kang Woo-joo, a former flight instructor turned air traffic controller. Interest is mounting as he confirmed his next project just two months after wrapping up JTBC's ‘My Youth’ last October. Anticipation is high to see how he will bring his own unique style to the roles of flight instructor and air traffic controller, characters he has never portrayed before.

Additionally, the female lead opposite Song Joongki has also received offers, with the role going to an actress actively working in both dramas and films. With filming scheduled for next year, casting for the main and supporting roles is currently underway.
