[theqoo] [EXCLUSIVE] PARK NARAE, FILES EXTORTION COMPLAINT AGAINST FORMER MANAGER: ILLEGAL MEDICAL PROCEDURE? A MALICIOUSLY DISTORTED FRAMA"

According to Sports Kyunghyang’s report on the 5th, the criminal complaint filed by Park Narae’s former managers included the claim that her medical treatment was illegal, and this claim was also used as the basis for their request for a provisional seizure of 100 million KRW.

The former managers tied Park Narae’s fatigue-recovery injection treatment to the “injection aunt” narrative, pressuring her as if she had undergone illegal procedures using unapproved drugs. Park Narae is said to have suffered severe psychological distress from this. The term “injection aunt” refers to cases where a former nurse or someone who previously worked in the medical field illegally administers injections. Park Narae’s side emphasized that “this frame was not merely raising questions but a malicious attempt to damage Park Narae’s image.”

They further stated, “The former managers created a distorted impression as if Park Narae had been prescribed illegal substances and even attempted to tip off the media.”

Attorney Lee Se-jung of Law Firm Gwangjang, representing Park Narae, said, “A comprehensive review of all related materials, statements, conversations, and text messages confirmed that there is absolutely no legal issue with the medical treatment Park Narae received.” He added, “Due to her busy filming schedule, Park Narae could not visit the hospital, so she simply requested a house call and received an IV from the doctor and nurse at the hospital she regularly went to. This is a perfectly legal medical service widely used by ordinary patients as well.”

Park Narae’s agency, N-Park Co., Ltd., also released an official statement explaining that the former managers demanded an additional amount equivalent to 10% of the previous year’s revenue on top of their severance pay. When their demand was rejected, they began pressuring Park Narae with various false claims. Park Narae’s side described these actions as “intentional pressure for financial gain.”

It has also been confirmed that Park Narae filed a criminal complaint for extortion against the former managers, who had previously accused her of assault and power abuse. Park Narae’s side stated, “The police investigation will clarify the facts, and we will respond firmly to any distorted claims,” adding that they are considering legal action for any further misconduct that may surface.

1. I support Park Narae, fighting

2. Bt this wasn't the point

3. Please stop drinking

4. Park Narae, fighting

5. They must get house calls a lot in that industry. Ordinary office workers are too busy to even think about calling a doctor for a house visit, and they don't have the money for that either. So what's the point of using "it's common for celebrities" as a standard?

6. As long as it wasn't illegal, it's fine. Who cares if it's common or not? People just seem to have fun to send someone rock bottom

7. Narae unnie, fighting

8. Find strength. Now that you've got money, all sorts of undesirable people are clinging to you. Just cut back on the drinking now, and meet people outside. Don't invite them home. Keep your personal and professional lives separate. I hope you can keep it up long-term, it looks precarious lately

9. If they needed money, I feel like they could've just asked Park Narae and she would've lent it to them..

10. It wasn't even illegal so who cares if it wasn't "common"? Seems like people just want to keep changing the subject and argue using semantics
