Broadcaster Park Narae has filed an additional complaint against her former managers for embezzlement.
According to a report by Ilgan Sports on the 22nd, Park Na-rae submitted a complaint to the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on the 20th against former managers A and B, accusing them of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement).
Previously, Park's side had filed a complaint against A and B for extortion, stating, “We confirmed that the former manager established a personal corporation and that some funds were diverted to that corporation under the guise of agency fees,” foreshadowing the embezzlement complaint.
Park Narae's former managers, Mrs. A and Mrs. B, applied for a provisional attachment of her real estate on the 3rd and announced plans to seek damages. They alleged Park Narae committed various illegal acts, including special ass**lt, workplace h*r*ssment, SH, proxy prescription, and delayed payment of personal expenses.
Park Narae's side countered, stating, “After receiving their severance pay, the former managers demanded an additional amount equivalent to 10% of the company's previous year's sales,” adding, “The demanded amount gradually increased, reaching hundreds of millions of won.”
Following Park Narae's complaint, Mrs. A and Mrs. B also filed criminal charges against her with the police for special assault, defamation by false statements, and violation of the Information and Communications Network Act. They additionally reported her for embezzlement under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes, alleging she misused company funds for personal purposes.
Beyond these allegations, Park Narae recently faced additional suspicions of illegal medical practices after reports surfaced that she received IV drips from an individual known as “Uncle Injection.” Park Narae's side explained that they understood this person to be “a licensed medical professional.”
Meanwhile, Park Narae and her former managers have recently completed their respective investigations as complainants.
