According to MyDaily's report on the 24th, Lay will not appear in the new season of the reality variety show ‘EXO’s Ladder: Traveling the World’. While the original plan was for all six members, Leader Suho, Kai, D.O., Sehun, Chanyeol, and Lay, to appear, Lay has ultimately decided not to participate.

'EXO’s Ladder: Traveling the World' is a web variety show where everything from the travel destination to the sleeping arrangements is decided by a ladder of fate. Starting with Japan in 2018, it has produced four seasons so far: Taiwan in 2019, Namhae in 2022, and Geoje & Tongyeong in 2023. The new season, returning after about two years, is drawing significant attention.

Lay also missed the EXO fan meeting ‘EXO'verse’ held at Incheon INSPIRE Arena on the 14th. At the time, Lay stated via Weibo: "I had to urgently return to Beijing to attend an important event at the National Theatre of China. I arrived safely, so please don't worry.
