[theqoo] IS THE 05'ER RUDE VS THE 88'ER TOO SENSITIVE?

An '88er unnie  showed me old photos, so the '05er dongsaeng said, "Unnie, you were so beautiful when you were young~", and she got mad. From the '05er's perspective, late 30s is a long while away, so shouldn't she ('88er) just let it go?

The view that the person born in '05 is rude is because they treated the person born in '88 as an old person...?

The view that the person born in '88 is sensitive is that a person 17 years younger, like a niece or nephew, might feel that way, and it's hard to understand getting angry at a young person.

original post: here

1. I'm a '88er myself, and this is something that '88ers are especially sensitive about

2. Ajumma, I bet you're pretty too now?

3. '88ers are still in their 30s, so to say stuff like "when you were young" when you're still young is quite funny

4. I'd be so triggered

5. She's allowed to be triggered, but coming from a '05er, I'd let it slide ㅋㅋㅋㅋ It might've just been a mistake but it sounds like they were talking down on her

6. That '88er's personality is weird

7. I'd get so triggered if I heard stuff like "When you were young"

8. '88er is sensitive... I'm a '95er and I even consider '05ers babies even though they're closer to me

9. That's a 21 y'o talking to a 38 y'o....

10. '88ers aren't even 40 yet, what "old"? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
