[marriage & in-laws] I AND MY WIFE FOUGHT OVER WHO IS HANDSOMER BETWEEN YIM SIWAN VS CHA EUNWOO

My wife really likes Cha Eunwoo.

She's been going "Cha Eunwoo, Cha Eunwoo" for a long time, but at first I didn't think much of it. He's a celebrity, and objectively speaking, he's obviously handsome.

Then one day, we were watching TV and actor Yim Siwan came on. I casually said,

"Just judging by the face alone (from the neck up), I think Yim Siwan looks more gentle and pure, so he seems more handsome. Isn't Cha Eunwoo the type of face that can be a bit polarizing?"

Suddenly my wife said, "That's just because you have bad taste. Cha Eunwoo already has the title of the representative handsome guy of this era. If it were Yim Siwan, he would've had that title instead, so you're wrong."

I replied, "There's no right answer when it comes to looks. To my eyes, it's just Yim Siwan. Cha Eunwoo has no scent or vibe, and I think women might actually like Im Siwan more. Cha Eunwoo looks like a sculpture, but he doesn't have that pure vibe. Yim Siwan just has a strong actor image, but face-wise, he absolutely doesn't lose to Cha Eunwoo. I didn't stop there and kept the argument going. I honestly didn't think it was that serious, but because she was kind of deifying Cha Eunwoo while dismissing other celebrities, I guess I developed a bit of resistance out of spite.

The discussion dragged on, turned into "you're right / I'm right," and eventually we decided to hear what other people think and write this post together.

It feels childish to argue this much over something like this, but it unexpectedly turned into a serious fight. As we kept talking, I genuinely became curious.

I know Cha Eunwoo is very hot these days and is considered the standard of male beauty, but isn't Yim Siwan, aside from being short, more than competitive when it comes to facial features?

What do you all think?

Hmm, I was thinking Yim Siwan was okay while looking at his photos, but then I saw Cha Eunwoo's photos and went "Hul",what a treat for the eyesㅎㅎ Anyway, both are fine, but I'm casting my vote for Cha Eunwoo

Both are handsome. But do you know about 'Choi Choi Cha Cha'? It stands for "My bias is my bias but Cha Eunwoo is Cha eunwoo" (T/N: Bias in Korea = Choi-ae). His handsomeness is above my preference. It's a catchphrase that says Cha Eunwoo is great in his own right, regardless of whether you like him as a celebrity. Cha Eunwoo is so handsome that he even spawned his own slang. Yim Siwan is handsome too, but he didn't exactly start a trend, no?
