She uploaded a screenshot of an Excel file listing dollar amounts alongside the English name of Mr. Shin, an affiliated artist and former singer-turned-producer, and mentioned that “she paid it back on his behalf.”

The records, spanning August 2023 to January 2025, detail USD 3.82 million. They include the names of two Las Vegas hotel casinos and the corresponding ML numbers, which stand for ‘Marker Loans’, short-term credit loans provided by casinos to VIP customers.

“That Excel file was just something I wrote down based on my impression of how much 00 had done, and then I gave him the file.”

The electronic airline tickets submitted to reporters by company officials included details of trips made by celebrity Mr. Shin and agency chairman Mrs. Cha to Los Angeles and Las Vegas around the time the casino credit loans were issued.

“Among the accompanying party, (Mr. Shin) was playing games at the time... they mentioned something like ‘he'll probably come down soon’...”

Police, having obtained intelligence regarding Mr. Shin's gambling trip, are reportedly reviewing the facts according to standard procedures.

Mr. Shin countered, stating, “I have visited Las Vegas, USA for business, but I have never gambled,” and “The casino loan records presented as evidence are all false.”
