"Right now, we're in the AI generation and nobody can ignore it. Let me say this, The three major professions in the humanities are those: lawyer, accountant, tax accountant. Those 3 jobs have experienced a dramatic impact from the AI industry starting 3 months ago. For newbies, there should be roles like "something-something assistant". But to be frank, whether it's law firms or accounting firms, they've virtually completely reduced or stopped hiring first-year employees who have just passed their certification exams.
So what does it mean? Even after getting that great qualification, I thought, 'I can't find a job even as an apprentice". Typically, you start as an assistant for a year, work your way up to a senior role in 2-3 years, but nobody will hire you now. Why wouldn't they hire you? Law firms' eyes are all open now. "Instead of those newbies, we can give the work to AI who will work way faster and more accurately, so why should we hire newbies?"
And this is creating an issue right now. Do you know what the issue is? In the past, even when people were power tripping, I didn't really care. But for MZ generation, they come to a company and know that their culture have changed, so they put in less work than we used to in the past. And they also change jobs the moment they grow a little. What I mean is that the "power trip" mindset doesn't work on them anymore. Companies need to face this.
So now, the seniors' revenge is starting upside down. The seniors that I've met all talk like this. "We're so tired of GenZ. They come to work everyday and think "I won't offer my body to a company, we want WLB. I'm moving company the moment I don't like it anymore." so we will not be hiring them anymore. Rather than hiring them, staying among older folks together is way better." Of course, this begs the question "Ugh, at the end of the day, we should still be hiring juniors right?" But as a senior developer, all they're thinking is "I'll do the design, and they'll do the coding, it's tiring to do all that myself, but I still won't hire them (So I'll do everything myself)."
I've met a lot of senior developers recently and they're now super excited. Because they now think "Ah, now I can just make AI do everything." Same thing with designers, they'd say "I'll just make AI do it." I meet with lawyers and they'd say "I can just make AI do it." And in the future, doctors will do the same. They'd think "If I hire a newbie, they'll be so lazy and try to achieve WLB, I'll just put everything in a machine and they can give me the diagnosis right away. Why would I need newbies?"
This is the upside down revenge of the seniors. Meanwhile newbies now are thinking "Where can I go to get the experience? Should I start as an intern?" There's no more of that now. They can't sue anyone. They should be asking a new question."

1. This is so f*cked
2. It feels like they're feeling inferiority complex towards the youth
3. What a f*cking load of BS. The statistics also show that GenX are the least sociable generation. But looks like they'll deny it until their d**ths ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
4. This makes no sense at all ã…‹ã…‹
5. No but in reality, the MX generation are f*cking hardworking. The truth is that it's true that they don't want to hire us but it's 100% because they want to use AI
6. ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ They blame everything on MZ generation ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
7. I think half of it is true, I use AI a lot in my work already. It's true that people have stopped hiring because of this specific reason, but we're not at the stage where designers can all be replaced by AI. This only applies to white collar type of work too. If I were a professional, I'd hire a new employee and have them run the AI and do inspection work. This also takes a lot of time.
8. Rather than a revenge, it's more like companies don't need juniors anymore..
9. Revenge? ã…Žã…Ž Stop messing with young people
10. Remove the 'M' in 'MZ', M are now all in their 40s...
