We would like to convey our official position regarding the recent reports related to Nana.

On November 15, Nana and her mother were victims of a serious crime in which an intruder armed with a deadly weapon broke into their residence and committed a robbery. From the early stages of the investigation, based on clear evidence and statements from both the victims and the perpetrator, the case was investigated as robbery causing bodily injury. The perpetrator was indicted on the same charge, and the trial is currently ongoing.

Despite this, the perpetrator has shown no remorse whatsoever for his crime and has continued to make false claims, including filing a retaliatory counter-complaint against the victim and repeatedly changing his statements.

In particular, we cannot help but feel deep anger and dismay at the inhumane secondary harm being inflicted on the victim, as the perpetrator exploits the fact that the victim is a public figure to distort the truth and spread groundless allegations, causing further emotional injury.

With regard to the retaliatory counter-complaint, the police recently reached a clear conclusion of “no charges / no referral,” which is an official determination by the investigative authorities that the perpetrator’s claims are entirely unfounded.

Accordingly, we have determined that the perpetrator’s actions constitute intentional and malicious secondary victimization and false allegations continued even after the commission of a serious crime, and we inform you that we have immediately initiated legal proceedings by filing a complaint for false accusation.

We will not overlook this matter under any circumstances, and we will take all possible civil and criminal legal measures against the perpetrator’s abusive and inhumane conduct to ensure that he is held fully accountable under the law.

We make it clear that there will be no compromise of any kind in protecting the victim’s honor and safety.
